We are climate neutral! Sounds cool, but what does that even mean?
The term "climate-neutral" means first of all that our products do not increase the amount of climate-damaging gases in the atmosphere. We reduce and avoid CO2 emissions wherever possible. We then compensate for what we cannot avoid.
We do that through ClimatePartner. They calculate the resulting CO2 emissions and offset them through recognized climate protection projects. Our climate protection project is the Bergwaldprojekt e.V. in the Harz Mountains and plants healthy mixed forests, which are important CO2 stores. This preserves the native forest landscape and protects endangered species. Since we work with internationally supplied raw materials, product compensation seems essential to us.
Since 2020 we have also compensated our company, although this is of little consequence due to our bicycle-loving employees and the natural electricity relationship that already exists.
