As a manufacturer of natural cosmetics, all our ingredients are (natural and) organic in origin. That's why we don't cut corners when it comes to "organic". This starts, for example, with the beeswax (certified by Demeter or Bioland) and ends with the essential oils (organic sage, organic rosemary, etc.). When choosing the packaging materials, we also pay attention to organic quality seals (wood fibers from FSC-certified forestry).

While mineral oil-based ingredients in cosmetics have a long tradition, we want to clearly differentiate ourselves from them. Because aromatic hydrocarbons, so-called "Mineral Oil Aromatic Hydrocarbons" (MOAH), are produced during production, which are suspected of promoting the growth of cancer cells. Instead, we use valuable vegetable raw materials such as shea butter, seed oils or macerates from flower extracts, which provide the skin with high-quality fatty acids and care for it over the long term.

In addition, our products are:

• free from synthetic fragrances: Our products either do not contain any fragrances at all, because the beeswax naturally brings the fragrant property with them, or we rely on fragrances that are exclusively of natural origin. This includes essential oils such as Bio-Salbei, Organic Bergamot or Organic Lavender.
• sustainably packaged: we focus on reusability, above all the highest possible recycling rate and materials of natural origin. You will not find any product that contains plastic packaging.
• Mikroplastikfrei: Microplastics are attractive for cosmetics for a number of reasons. The synthetic substance is used for binding, filling or grinding despite growing problems and awareness in cosmetics. However, microplastics persist in the environment for decades, sewage treatment plants usually cannot filter out these tiny particles, and so the residues ultimately end up in lakes, rivers and seas, where they in turn are ingested by fish. No feast, as we think! All our ingredients are therefore fully biodegradable and therefore no danger to the environment, animals or people.

• no preservatives: Thanks to the absence of water, we can easily avoid synthetic preservatives.
• Fair partnerships: We have our beekeepers met personally and established a solid long-term cooperation. The same also applies to our suppliers and authorized dealers.
• hormones? Better without! The WHO assessed the use of endocrine disrupting chemicals as a global threat in 2013. Hormonal substances are also not uncommon in cosmetics, as a study of the BUND concluded and suspected the addition of parabens or chemical UV protection filters in every fourth cosmetic product. We don't put that in the tube, or rather not in the can or the stick!
