Yes, that's true and we don't really like it either, because we only had a sale in March. We would love to offer the products at the regular price. Unfortunately, the truth is that we aren't doing so well financially. That's why we've had to let go of some members of our team and reduce everyone's working hours so that we can continue. In this blog post, we want to try to explain the situation to you.
On the other hand, our warehouses are full (we have been expecting a larger listing in retail for two years) and our money is tied up in finished products/raw materials and paper packaging, which (albeit slowly) are getting older and not better. The storage costs are piling up and and and...
We too are affected by the stagnation of the economy that everyone fears. But we don't just want to complain. Understandably, many people are not in a good mood to buy and products are becoming more and more expensive (not ours, by the way - we have reduced the price of our solid creams by €2). At the same time, our products last a long time (at least the hand creams and oils ). But we don't despair and are looking for solutions. Products that everyone really uses every day (soap/ deodorant ), for example, are one way we are taking.
Okay, but why would another sale help?
In order to turn the current situation around, we need to sell off the goods.
And that's why a sale is one of many measures. We have made other products ( scented candles ) with expired goods, for example, so that the raw materials are used up and we don't have to throw anything away. If you have other ideas for selling cosmetics, please let us know! We are open to any creative idea.
The truth is: We wouldn't have come this far without you. Yes, you heard right. We have a total of almost 2,000 customers who have ordered from us more than 3 times and even some real fans who have ordered more than 15 or 20 times. We are very happy about that and it's great!
But how did you get to know us back then? Hopefully through recommendations or small shops. But many probably through the internet (Google/ Facebook / Instagram ) and that's exactly where the problem lies. A new customer costs us an average of €17 through these channels and it's getting more and more expensive. The digital companies have learned and now know exactly how big the pie is and what they can demand from it. You either play along or you don't. We're trying to find the middle ground. There has to be some advertising, but be careful.
How can you help us even if you don't want to buy anything?
So what can you do if you like our mission but are already stocked up? Your recommendation to your friends is really worth its weight in gold to us. No, honestly, before we pay money to Facebook or Google (for advertising) for each new customer, we would be extremely happy if you advertise for us .
1. For example, do you know people with really stressed hands? Perfect → give them some hand cream .
Cracked feet? → Foot cream works wonders!
Psoriasis or itching → Logical... Pure organic aloe vera , what else?
We are convinced of the effectiveness of our products and want others to experience this effect too. You can help us with this and it really helps us!
2. I want to advertise, but I don't have much money?
No problem! Write "Refer a friend" in the notes field of your (small or large) order and we will provide you with free products.
